Reading Guide
Business-Model Design

Sprint

Jake Knapp, John Zeratsky, and Braden Kowitz

The VMT Review

The book presents a five-day process developed at Google Ventures for moving from a major question to a realistic prototype and customer test. It is engaging and action oriented. Not every business problem can be resolved in five days, but the process is excellent for creating focus and avoiding prolonged internal debate.

What the Reader Will Learn

Founders learn to map a challenge, select a target, generate alternatives, choose a testable approach, build a realistic prototype, and observe customer reactions. Mentors can adapt the principles without insisting upon the exact five-day schedule.
